Countertop Installation | Austin TX | Brightline Remodeling

Stone is the single most photographed surface in your home. The seam, the edge, the overhang, the cut at the cooktop — every detail shows.

Brightline installs quartz, quartzite, marble and granite countertops as part of kitchen, bath and built-in projects, and as standalone installs over existing cabinetry. We work with local fabricators we've vetted for seam quality, slab-yard relationships and reliable scheduling — so the timeline stays predictable and the finish stays clean.

Every countertop starts with a digital template (laser or LiDAR) taken after cabinetry is fully installed and leveled. Slabs are selected at the yard so you see the actual movement, color and tone you'll live with. Layout is planned around movement, seams are placed at the least-visible points (avoid sink centers, avoid cooktop edges), and waterfall ends are book-matched when the slab allows. Install day, we set the slab on shimmed and adhered cabinets, seam-fill with color-matched epoxy, and undermount the sink with proper support. Backsplashes follow once the counter is set.

We're transparent about pricing: material + fabrication + install, with overage allowance for waste, edge profile and any unusual cutouts. Typical Austin countertop installs run $80–$220 per square foot installed depending on material and edge complexity. Quartz is the most forgiving, quartzite the most durable, marble the most beautiful and the most maintenance-required, granite the most varied.

Client Reviews

What clients say about our countertop installation projects.

"Brightline ran the cleanest job site we've ever seen. The schedule slipped by exactly one day across a 14-week project — and they told us about it a week in advance."
Sarah & Mark T. · West Lake Hills
"We interviewed five contractors. Brightline was the only one who walked us through risks before we signed. That honesty paid off all year."
Jennifer R. · Allandale

FAQ

Countertop Installation questions

Quartz: low maintenance, very durable, looks great. Quartzite: natural stone, very hard, etch-resistant. Marble: gorgeous, etches and stains with acidic foods — pick it if you embrace patina.
